Similar to the Main Committees, each session the Ad Hoc Political Committee submitted multiple reports to the General Assembly on each agenda item allocated to it, rather than issuing a sessional report like most other ad hoc bodes. These were assigned straight A/ symbols following the pattern established at the time of issuance.

Most meeting records issued as summary records (symbol element SR.), selected meetings have verbatim meeting records (symbol element PV.). In New York, the Library shelves A/SPC GAOR volumes between 1st and 2nd Committee records within each session. PVs are shelved under symbol A/SPC/--/PV.
