At this session, the Commission based its work on the report of the second session of the Drafting Committee, E/CN.4/95. Individual articles of the Declaration were examined and the Commission adopted the re-drafted Declaration with 12 votes in favour and 4 abstentions (E/CN.4/SR.81). The report of the third session of the Commission on Human Rights, E/800 and Add.1 and Add.2, was submitted to the seventh session of the Economic and Social Council.
