The FTS is a global, real-time database that records all reported international humanitarian aid (including that for NGOs and the Red Cross / Red Crescent Movement, bilateral aid, in-kind aid, and private donations). The database is maintained by the UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
The GDACS provides near real-time alerts about natural disasters and tools to facilitate response coordination, including media monitoring, map catalogues and the Virtual On-Site Operations Coordination Centre. The service is provided by UN OCHA (Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs) in cooperation with the European Union.
The UN-SPIDER Knowledge Portal is a resource developed by UNOOSA (UN Office for Outer Space Affairs). It is the United Nations Platform for Space-Based Information for Disaster Management and Emergency Response.
UNOSAT, the UNITAR Operational Satellite Applications Programme, prepares maps, analytical reports and datasets in support of international humanitarian assistance operations to respond to crises caused by natural disasters, conflict and other complex emergencies.
